  • Know & Grow Oklahoma: Community Discovery Report

Know and Grow Oklahoma is a statewide initiative from the Potts Family Foundation to build resilient children, families, and communities. Fifteen Community Contractors, including the Autism Foundation of Oklahoma, in partnership with Parent Promise, engaged their communities to gather information from around the state to determine how children born between  2019 and May 2023 and their families are doing after the COVID-19 pandemic. The project helped us learn about the challenges and opportunities families face due to the pandemic.

  • 2022 Oklahoma Childcare and Autism Needs Assessment

Supported by Oklahoma Partnerships for School Readiness and the Children's Behavioral Health Partnership of Tulsa, the Autism Foundation of Oklahoma surveyed Oklahoma families to better understand the challenges they face in finding quality childcare for their child(ren) with autism and other developmental disabilities, and Oklahoma childcare providers to determine the barriers they face in supporting children within these populations. AFO presented our findings to a national audience in February 2023 at the Desmond P. Kelly, MD, Nurturing Developing Minds Conference in Greenville, SC.
