Neurodivergent Adults of OKC: Friendsgiving
Join us in the private courtyard at Social Capital on November 15, 2024 at 7 pm for our 2nd annual Friendsgiving. This year, dinner is on us. No cooking, no cleaning, just celebrating! RSVP is required.
AFO's monthly socials and annual special events aim to foster community and enhance a sense of self as part of our efforts to increase the mental health and well-being of autistic Oklahomans. The socials are autistic-led and hosted in OKC and Tulsa.
Project: Safe Stop Lawton
Join us in Lawton on Friday, November 15th for our next Project: Safe Stop with local co-hosts Darien's Voice Foundation and Lawton Police Department!
Project: Safe Stop is a community event that allows drivers and passengers with autism to practice safe traffic stops. This event also educates officers about autism and helps local law enforcement agencies meet the autistic citizens living and working in their area.
Neurodivergent and Disabled Adults of Tulsa: Friendsgiving
Join us in the Lynn Riggs black box theater for our 2nd annual Friendsgiving. This year, dinner is on us! MJ will be behind the bar for purchase (or feel free to bring something N/A) and if you'd like, please bring a dessert to share with our community.
RSVP is required.
This monthly social is a fun, safe, inclusive gathering that promotes socialization, connection, and friendship with those like you! Unmask, unwind, and be your authentic self!
We encourage this social to be for autistic/neurodivergent/disabled adults only so we can have a space that is ours, practice autonomy, and unmask.
